This hammer has a solid head of bronze. One end of the head is a permanent magnet and the other end is for hammering. This is a professional quality tool made in America with a hickory handle. This hammer is used to secure upholstery fabric to furniture frames using tacks. As it has a steel tip on end, it aids the placement of tacks whilst using the other end to drive them in.
