Press studs

Press studs are silver chrome or nickel plated. These are uses for fixing upholster covers down or in place. Using press studs makes it easier to remove the covers when they need cleaning. They can be fixed to fabric and wood. Press studs come in sets of four. There are four parts to ever press stud. Two base and two top parts. The base parts are usually screwed into the frame of the furniture, especially when doing Ercol dining seat pads. When you are fixing all the press stud to fabric, you then need a press stud tool.
